Abstract

This article addresses educational innovation by implementing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and MathemaTIC) approach in teaching-learning. It explores how this approach can enhance student collaboration through peer instruction, fostering collaborative learning and problem-solving. In addition, it examines how to overcome traditional barriers to inclu75sion in the classroom and proposes a broader perspective beyond Universal Design for Learning. This innovative approach is based on integrating STEM projects that engage students in real-world problem-solving activities. Peer instruction is used as a strategy to foster collaboration, critical thinking, and social skills development. In addition, inclusive approaches that go beyond universal learning design are discussed, considering the diversity of students and adapting strategies to meet their individual needs.
