Abstract

The objective of the chapter is to analyze the causes of the indicators that show academic failure from different perspectives. The students of the Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS) were taken as the object of study. The type of quantitative-descriptive research ware used, based on the analysis of the information gathering through an online survey with the participation of 1,561 students and 150 teachers, divided into the three campuses and among all the careers offered by the UPS.
