Abstract
The objective of this text is to present the results of the research on the incidence of Academic Management in the Professional Formation of the students of the Master's Degree in Systemic Family Therapy of the Salesian Polytechnic University. This training program is contextualized in the university as a whole and the various problems existing in academic management with respect to teaching, research, resource management and linkage with society and its relationship with certain weakened aspects of professional training such as the admission of students and teachers, the development of research lines, graduate follow-up and dissemination of results are raised. Then, both academic management and professional training are defined and analyzed theoretically. Thirdly, the methodological aspects of the research conducted are developed, which is of a correlational type. The data collected are presented in tables that allow a quick visualization of the results and contribute to verify the incidence of management in professional training by testing the hypothesis through the Chi-square test. Finally, the information obtained allows characterizing the academic management and describing the professional formation of the master's degree.
