Abstract
The term "life" comes from the Latin vita and has several meanings. In a general way, it can mean the development that living beings fulfill, which is based on exercising cycles such as being born, growing, reproducing and dying; its vital importance is to exist. On the other hand, in the theological part, life is considered as sacred and worthy basis of a moral vision for society. Catholic tradition teaches that to protecthuman dignity and build healthy communities, human rights must be respected and duties fulfilled. Therefore, every person has a fundamental right to life and a right to everything necessary to live decently. Therefore, when talking about the right to a dignified life, it is essential to ratify that human beings, having an inadequate experience in terms of health, dismayed by chronic-catastrophic diseases, must make conscious decisions on how to improve or end this pain attached to their lives. people, a solution to this is euthanasia.
