Abstract

This document analyzes the domain of social networks in the teacher’s professional process, highlights the influence of social networks in recent times, becoming a space for the creation of various activities that facilitate communication and sending effective information among the entire educational team. It was developed through a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach, where the importance that social networks play in the education of the Calasancio Victoria Valverde School is evident, with a sample of 76 students. It was confirmed, through 166Formación docente y transformación curricular en la era digital on-site research, that social networks are essential support in promoting the profesional ability of teachers, since they allow recognition of the context and environment in which students develop and it is the responsibility of teachers. Create critical, autonomous and respectful thinking in young people when it comes to the use of technological means.
