Abstract
The inclusion of people with multiple disabilities in higher education, particularly in engineering programs, constitutes a significant challenge that requires concrete ethical and pedagogical actions. This study analyzes how Don Bosco’s Preventive System—based on the principles of love, reason, and religion—offers a humanistic framework that promotes equality, equity, and mutual respect in university educational settings. Likewise, initiatives such as the LALA and TEPES projects, as well as the UNESCO Chair with the “Compañero Tutor” program, highlight and demonstrate the importance of personalized support to ensure the integral development of students, especially those with some type of disability. The study concludes that inclusion in higher education not only requires the adaptation of infrastructures, materials, and technological resources but also teacher training in inclusive approaches, in order to guarantee equitable opportunities and full access to education for all.
