Abstract
In recent years, there has been a decline in the sales of products in Daule's municipal markets due to a lack of monitoring of customer satisfaction. The objective of this study is to analyze customer satisfaction in two municipal markets in Daule. A mixedqualitative-quantitative approach was used, which included literature reviews and expert surveys, as well as a quantitative analysis based on questionnaires. The results show that customer satisfaction in these markets is satisfactory, but it is recommended that strategies be implemented to improve the perception of such satisfaction. In addition, merchants should continue to offer good service and quality products to maintain a sufficient number of regular customers. Given that product prices are similar in all markets, it is recommended that merchants offer added value, such as good service or free additional products.
