Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of early care on the learning process of children from zero to six years of age with functional diversity in the Specialized Educational Unit Fiscomisional Nuestra Señora del Carmen from a comprehensive approach to protection of rights and development of potentialities. This research is considered aligned with the phenomenological paradigm, while the approach was recognized as mixed, as it contains quantitative and qualitative elements, while the scope of the inquiry is explanatory with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The instruments used to collect the information used were: the direct interview with educators to express their experiences in the classroom, the survey of 10 parents, composed of 12 response items, the report of measurement scales of associated process indicators Successful learning, both for teachers and parents as an extension of the educational process at home. The contrasted analysis of the information showed that early care has a direct and positive impact on the learning of children with functional diversity.
