Abstract
This book is a tribute to the most representative figure of Bolivian social and cultural anthropo-logy, Xavier Albó. It highlights his unpublished archive, in which he accumulated a large number of ethnographic observations throughout his life, but prioritizing his initial phase of discovering the indigenous and peasant reality (as it was then called) of Bolivia during the 1970s, coinciding with the founding of the Center for Research and Promotion of the Peasantry (CIPCA).
