Abstract

With the aim of improving the quality of university education, the Faculties of Accounting and Auditing and Systems Engineering, Electronics and Industrial Engineering of the Technical University of Ambato, have integrated the use of Web 3.0 tools in academic work to encourage collaborative learning. This research aims to assess the use and application of Web 3.0 tools in the collaborative learning process in the 2018 and 2019 academic year. Our research is of a descriptive nature and is methodologically framed within a mixed and cross-cutting approach. The sample consists of 4 career coordinators, 12 teachers and 97 students. The main findings show the following: the first steps have been taken to integrate Web 3.0 tools in the collaborative learning process. However, the technological infrastructure needs to be improved, as well as training on Web 3.0 tools in order to seek innovation with them.
