Abstract

"HackeArte" is not a divine inspiration, but an artistic catalyst that seeks to empower artists with digital and face-to-face spaces to motivate their re-knowledge and publicize their achievements in which the pecuniary value can be transacted complementarily with money, but also with exchanges of products and services. In other words: "HackeArte" is a platform for exhibition, promotion and sale of art created by the GameLab research group of the Salesian Polytechnic University with the support of the Directorate of Culture of the Municipality of Cuenca. We know that one of the hardest hit sectors is precisely the artistic sector, which has historically been ignored in terms of economy. Faced with this situation we asked ourselves: is it possible to generate a virtual space for permanent exhibition of works of art that allows to reach the transaction? Thus was born the virtual platform for artistic sales and promotion that seeks to make it possible for the artists themselves to present their works and sell them in a single space, maintaining control of the transactions without the need for mediators.
