Abstract
Héctor Mujica (1927-2002) belongs to the generation of Venezuelan intellectuals who assumed Marxism as a theory to approach the Venezuelan and Latin American reality. Born during the Gomecista regime (1908-1935), he learned from an early age to fight for the social demands of the most dispossessed.
