Abstract
Study habits have become one of the most relevant topics in current educational research; the purpose of this study is to describe how the study habits of 112 high school students at a private educational institution in the Metropolitan District of Quito are categorized. A quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional methodology was used, and the Álvarez and Fernández Study Habits and Techniques Questionnaire (CHTE) was employed. It was concluded that the majority of students across all three levels of high school have acceptable study habits, demonstrating that they are capable of adequately organizing their academic and personal activitie.
