Abstract
The following work addresses the development of a didactic guide, which serves as a pedagogical resource used by educators to organize the formative activities of students during the teaching-learning process (González et al., 2018). The guide was designed based on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the curricular diamond, and the mission and vision of the Fundación Don Bosco institution, in order to respond to the needs and diversity of children and adolescents attending this educatio-nal center. The execution of the project is justified because, for future educators, it is essential to have a plan that provides the necessary guidelines to strengthen students' writing communication skills. Furthermore, as an educational community, active participation from all members involved in the educational processes is encouraged to enhance pedagogical ma-nagement and the quality of academic reinforcement. Finally, this con-tributes to the development of students' skills with performance criteria essential for shaping graduates capable of expressing their ideas cohe-rently and consolidating their critical-reflective thinking in the face of societal challenges. The work begins with the question: Will the design of the didactic guide contribute to creating an organized pathway that ensures the learning of communication skills in a structured and sequential manner, follo-wing the guidelines and principles of UDL? Based on this, the objective emerges: to design a guide that facilitates the use of didactic strategies based on UDL to complement the teaching-learning processes and pro-mote the development of writing skills and abilities in the field of Lan-guage and Literature. Subsequently, a theoretical foundation is provided on what a didactic guide is, what UDL is, and what writing entails; for this purpose, current bibliographic sources up to five years old are con-sulted.
