Abstract
Academic papers should demonstrate how theory can be applied in practice to solve problems or improve the understanding of the subject of study. This chapter includes the alternative communication experience of the Sublevo Collective, which carries out urban graphic interventions such as muralism. Beyond being a communication tool, the mural can also be an educational and pedagogical instrument as in other historical experiences mentioned by members of the collective, experiences such as in the USSR where the mural offered the possibility of learning from reading, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, collective work and other aspects. The work also includes the experience of producing a documentary about this collective.
