Abstract
The book Public and organizational management of digital communication aims to present the different scenarios in which digital communication moves from a series of studies carried out by the teachers of the Salesian Polytechnic University, Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca campuses, in his master's degree in Digital Strategic Communication. This reflects the results of the research carried out, which present a reflective, fresh look and methodological and theoretical support, consolidating itself as a contribution that offers analysis from digital communication on different communication processes that range from social and citizen actions that are carried out on digital platforms as well as the use of different formats and supports, as well as the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on political and journalistic behavior. The publication includes proposals made in favor of native digital media, social organizations, private institutions, non-governmental organizations and public sector entities in which the new narratives, platforms, networks and interactions that have emerged with the evolution and development of of information and communication technologies.
