Abstract
This research analyzes the impact of using gamifiedactivities through Wordwall on learning about livingthings and their environment in natural sciences. Thestudy was conducted during the 2024-2025 schoolyear with 50 third-grade students in general basiceducation at a private institution in Guayaquil. Theobjective was to determine the effect of this digitaltool on student learning, motivation, and participation. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalentcontrol group was applied, using pre-tests, post-tests,and structured observation sheets. The resultsrevealed that the experimental group improved theiracademic performance and showed greater interest,attention, and enjoyment in class. It is concluded thatgamification with Wordwall promotes meaningfullearning, strengthens social interaction, and fosters apositive attitude toward natural sciences.
