Abstract
Real Functions. From Theory to Technical Application is a work aimed at the progressive study of functions and their use in engineering-related contexts. Through clear language, examples, worked problems, and graphical representations, the book guides the reader from introductory concepts to the analysis of different types of functions. The proposal combines theoretical treatment with applications linked to various technical areas, such as civil, agricultural, automotive, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering. In this way, each topic is connected to situations in which functions make it possible to model, interpret, and solve problems associated with the behavior of real quantities. Its structure enables students and teachers to follow an organized path for approaching the study of functions, both from a conceptual perspective and in terms of their usefulness in professional training contexts.
