De la Gerencia Tradicional a la Gerencia Transformacional. Un Estudio Interdisciplinario (Compilación)

Abstract

Currently, the crisis affecting our societies transcends from ethical, cultural, educational, economic, and political aspects to the organizational domain itself. Organizations are at a crossroads: on one hand, they try to comply with the demands of hegemonic neoliberal policies to maintain a conservative status quo and thereby respond to market logic, often neglecting human essence. On the other hand, they seek to adapt to the complexity of the demands from governments, social movements, and alternative critical thinking, which aim to promote more humane organizations, recognizing that the individuals who inhabit them are the most important aspect, not just the market as an abstract entity.
