Abstract
Teacher training focused on student diversity is crucial to ensure high-quality education. This study examined the preparation of future early childhood education teachers regarding the inclusion of children with disabilities and the review of initial teacher education curricula in both public and private universities. A descriptive non-experimental methodology was employed, supported by bibliometric analysis of Web of Science and Scopus databases. 140 early childhood education students were surveyed using the Likert scale. Findings underscore the need to amend teacher training programs to ensure full inclusion of children with disabilities. The importance of integrating pedagogical plans and strategies to promote inclusive education was discussed. In conclusion, it emphasizes the importance of universities incorporating such plans and strategies for teacher training focused on inclusion.
