Abstract

The deterioration of nature is a threat to life and its diverse ecosystems. Deforestation, pollution and climate change are altering ecosystems around the planet, causing extreme weather events, species extinction and degradation of the quality of life. Action is urgently needed to reverse this trend. We need to change our production and consumption model, reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and protect ecosystems. Only in this way will we be able to guarantee a sustainable future for generations to come.
