Abstract

This work presents the implementation of a field-oriented controller (FOC) using the ATP-EMTP tool. The model was developed through the ATPDraw graphical interface, in-corporating parts of the models in MODELS. TACS were also used in the modeling of PI controllers. The results obtained demonstrate the capability of these tools to develop control strategies for electric machines.
