Abstract

This chapter presents a comparative analysis of four fanﬁcs (two Brazilian and two Spanish)written based on the ﬁccional series La Casa de Papel. Our aim with this research project developed under the Alfamed Network (Euro-American Inter-University Research Network on Media Competence for Citizenship) is to discuss the dimensions of media competence that are at work in the creative production of fans of the series.
