Abstract
In recent years, local development has intervened as an alternative to globalization. It is defined as a process to reactivate the economy, based on the identification and utilization of limited and scarce resources, as well as the endogenous potential of a community, neighborhood or local city. It can also be said that it is a process of diversification and increase of economic and social activities in a given geographic space, always with a local base, based on the mobilization and coordination of all social actors involved, generating income, employment and wealth, which are tangible and intangible elements such as knowledge, values, behaviors, culture in its broadest sense, among others to be mentioned.
