Abstract

With the title "Incidence of the projects of Linkage with the Society of the Salesian Polytechnic University", the publication promoted by the Local Development Research Group - GIDLO and coordinated by Blas Garzón Vera and Juan Cárdenas Tapia, sdb, appeared in December 2021. The intention was to systematize some Linking Projects that had achieved social impacts in qualitative terms and educational innovation. On that occasion, a work was presented with ten chapters of reflection, systematization, analysis and description of the transcendental importance that the Link with Society implies for the Salesian Polytechnic University. On this occasion, and as the University approaches twenty-eight years of institutional life, we deliver Volume II of the book: "Incidence of the Salesian Polytechnic University's Linking Projects with Society" which includes in thirteen chapters the work of thirty-seven teachers, administrators, students and invited researchers. It is the continuation of the systematization of emblematic Linkage Projects with Society that have been developed in the Cuenca, Quito and Guayaquil offices. In each of them you can find the effort that the Salesian Polytechnic University has developed in these 28 years of Foundation to achieve social transformations. True to its Institutional Mission and Vision, it has deployed hard work in the scientific, technological and cultural fields, making itself known as an institution of academic excellence, scientific production, social responsibility and the ability to influence the development of society.
