Abstract
The Salesian Polytechnic University, in its effort to improve academic quality and provide support to students for their training integral, looks for strategies that lead to improve their learning, for them to be innovative, enterprising and reach their goal of degree in the time offered by each career. This research work focuses on the evaluation as an edge to consider to reflect on the evaluation process and the reasons for repetition at the Salesian Polytechnic University, from the various criteria of students and teachers surveyed, considering that re-enrolling in a subject translates into costs and time; costs because it requires more investment and time because the number of levels is increased to reach the degree goal.
