Abstract
In this work it is shown how a professional should perform his work, especially in the ethics applied to engineering, having moral and deontological principles. Ethics implies concern for oneself and for all others. It is man's commitment that should lead him to his personal perfection. It refers to an internal and free decision that does not represent a simple acceptance of what others think, say and do. As professional ethics we can say that each career has its own ethical framework, which determines a series of rules or standards according to the profession it is dedicated to, following these rules is a basic principle, as they help to solve problems and the way in which we must act no matter how difficult the circumstance that arises. Individual ethics seeks the common good and tries to eliminate self-interest. Ethics is related to engineering at the moment that our way of thinking, behavior and decisions are related and influence and contribute to important changes concerning technological advances and even more when we use the advances of science for human welfare, however, also when it is used against, not only the advance in engineering will make the difference, but it is even more important the conscience that we have about the use of engineering since, in the case of this work, what is the use of producing electrical energy with limited resources, such as non-renewable resources, if in the long run this causes a great loss of living organisms on the planet, as well as pollution and human health, what is the use of clean energies favorable to the environment, if we do not have effective access to them, at least not yet, but it is expected that this will change as the years go by. Environmental ethics will deal with this environmental issue. An analysis of the implications of environmental ethics in the processes of energy production and demand is presented, since these have their origin in renewable and non-renewable energies. Special emphasis will be placed on energy production as an important element for the development of society without forgetting the concept of sustainable development, which consists of achieving a development that satisfies our needs without compromising or affecting the needs of new generations, taking into account three issues, economic, social and, in this case, environmental.
