Abstract
The aim of this study is to show the relationship between the time configuration of early Christian eschatology and the political settlement of Christianity. For this we use the methodological tool "historicity regime", which allows us to understand that the time of the Middle Ages presents a tension between the futurizing tendency of the first eschatology and the installation in the present, typical of the Medieval church.
