Abstract
Since the appearance of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the spread of COVID-19 in Latin America and Ecuador, biosecurity measures became one of the main motivations for media and governmental work. Along with them, there were also issues such as access to health, education, internet, telework, isolation, productive survival, among other issues reported by the media. The media companies reformulated the contingency plans: human talent had to work from home, had to apply extraordinary hygiene measures and had to provide information on the state of alarm. The work of coordination and telematic management is complicated under these conditions -despite the technological advances provided by the digital era- given that the information linked to the pandemic requires explorations of society, science, politics, economy, culture, sports, family and the human being. This forced the establishment of work protocols with journalists, broadcasters, cameramen and more human talent that cooperates in the multimedia narrative (Radsch, 2020).
