Abstract
The book Gestión Ambiental en la empresa mediante la Norma ISO 14001-2015 presents information related to the basic concepts of Environmental Management in the company. It indicates, in detail, the stages of implementation, the role of the company's top management and its planning. The authors enriched the description of the ISO 14001-2015 standard based on their professional experiences. They provide the basic concepts of sustainable development and its objectives, which should be considered in the analysis of the environmental aspects of companies. Finally, the book deals with the milestones of Environmental Management, making a historical description of them and how the States grouped in the United Nations Organization include them in their Governmental Objectives. A glossary of terms related to the International Standard ISO 14001-2015 is also presented.
