Abstract
The text is a literary approach to the archaeology of the Aburrá Valley, connecting society with its past through a narrative that intertwines history, memory, and landscape. Through the account of an expedition to Morro Pelón—or Hill of the Three Crosses—places such as El Barcino, Astillero, and Manzanillo are explored. Instead of presenting the findings as cold facts, the text adopts a poetic atmosphere that breathes life into the vestiges of the past. Archaeology merges with literature to reconstruct emotions, silences, and absences, reclaiming literary language as a bridge between scientific knowledge and collective sensibility. Thus, the reader approaches more than 9,000 years of history as both spectator and participant in a living memory.
