Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic had a great impact on the Ecuadorian economy, with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the education sector being one of the sectors most affected and which had to adapt to the changes. The objective of the study was to analyze, using standardized techniques and tools, the financial situation of small and medium-sized enterprises belonging to the education sector in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
