Abstract
This research is based on the analysis of some muralist works, the same that are considered an important source for the enrichment of a city or locality, their proposals, exponents, techniques, and their contribution to the Guayaquil culture, among the fundamental characteristics of the muralism is its rich symbolic load, the same that gives rise, beyond the ornamental function, is an object of cultural diffusion of the city.
