El Moseib en la Revitalización de los Saberes y Conocimientos en el Área de Matemática

MOSEIB, as a complex educational program, addresses learning from the cultural experience and ethnic knowledge of each indigenous people. However, its application is not enough to functionally cover the expectations and needs of each community. Mathematics and its revitalization find space in this educational model, however, the significant learning of it is not fully achieved because it is not possible to provide the student with the necessary skills that serve him in his academic training for his applicat ion in the daily life. The present study attempts to contribute to the improvement of the teaching - learning of mathematics in educational centers of bilingual educa-tion, using the principles of MOSEIB. In this regard, we designed a qualitative methodology, where interviews and observation were the main tools. The subsequent computation of the results and their analysis allowed us to propose a motivating teaching - learning plan for mathematics considering the MOSEIB approaches for the CE-CIB Ciudad de Ambato of the San Vicente de Caney community.
