Abstract
Higher education institutions are betting on the transformation of their pedagogical models to face technological changes. The objective of this work is to present the action strategies of a cloister of professors. An empirical-analytical research methodology of mixed approach and longitudinal cut is developed. The information is collected from the Programming cloister, in the first year of engineering studies, at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, from 2019 to 2024. Five work phases are identified for the management and strategies of the cloister from a scientific basis. The results show innovation and research proposals developed in lines of action that improve the level of student approval by an average of 82.2 %. It is concluded that the management of the professors, who responsibly lead and encourage the cloister, show good practices that benefit students and professors from their initiatives.
