Abstract
The objective of this paper is to inquire the function of memory, understood as a mental representation, in recalling certain teachers after a period of time. From a qualitative point of view, a desk study will be carried out on how good teaching applied to education strengthen evocation in students, who could later remember some teachers as worthy of being called memorable. This theoretical contribution, which aims to later become an investigation of qualitative nature, will be applied in the Faculty of Philosophy of Universidad del Azuay, more specifically in the memory of the one who evokes (the student, the colleague, the key informant, the authority), about the memorability of the evoked teacher (the memorable professor), with the objective of discovering hints about their pedagogy, reflected on marks on the student and his learning procesS.
