Abstract
The Andean countries today are experiencing processes of revitalization of their cultural roots, intercultural education is manifested in any of the areas and corners of the continent. Education in the endogenous (pedagogies and content) as well as in the exogenous (meaning and objectives) must open to new perspectives, which is why intercultural education in general and higher education in the specific is a way of understanding the decolonizing possibility of non-traditional knowledge. Intercultural education as a form of decolonization of knowledge becomes a transforming event of human subjectivity, with it the social dimension, the encounter is revealed and described in the configuration of time, past by who they were when the subjects joined, present for the experience and future for the prospect of life after the model received.
