Abstract
The book "Economy, Business, and Politics" is framed within the context of an academic, scientific, and informative publication that has met the protocols and requirements necessary to obtain international recognition. Its rigor has been validated through evaluations in Ecuador and abroad, including peer review by PhDs from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), which guarantees its quality and validity in virtual and physical libraries and scientific databases. This book brings together a combination of academic, business, and political experiences, reflecting the authors' journey from training and professional practice to decision-making in the public sphere. Through this work, experiences, challenges, and achievements are shared, as well as practical tools and applied knowledge that seek to guide those who navigate these same spaces. It is not just about theory, but about an integration of what is learned in university classrooms, business practice, and the reality of public management. One of the central themes of the text is the relationship between academia, business, and public policy, exploring how these areas not only intersect but also complement each other. The text analyzes the transition process from teaching and the private sector to politics, detailing the challenges of entering the public sphere, the difference between the agility of the productive sector and government bureaucracy, and the dynamics faced by those who assume responsibility for state management. In addition, elements of political communication and marketing are addressed, highlighting how their proper application strengthens institutional reputation and mitigates image crises. In an environment where public perception plays a determining role, proper communication management becomes essential to consolidate effective leadership and generate public trust. This work is aimed at those who believe in the possibility of achieving success in academia and business without abandoning their commitment to politics and public service. Its purpose is to motivate new generations to prepare and assume leadership roles with responsibility, integrity, and strategic vision. From the classroom to business management, to economic analysis, to participation in political decision-making, every individual can generate a positive impact on society. The content is structured in 14 chapters, organized around key topics: beginnings in academia, teaching strategies, fundamentals of economics, economic analysis and policy, the trajectory in business from its first steps to leadership positions, balancing study and work in successful sectors, and finally, the experience in the National Assembly, observing its dynamics, successes, and limitations from within. We hope and aspire that this work will be of great professional, academic, and political use, but above all, it will inspire "Yes, we can!".
