Abstract
The Don Bosco Intercultural University Residence began in September 2011, at the initiative of the Salesian Province of Ecuador and the Salesian Polytechnic University. It is an academic and coexistence space where young people of different nationalities and peoples from different areas of the country share. This space for student coexistence seeks to build intercultural relationships within the university world and in society, in addition to combating the exclusion of indigenous and Afro-Ecuadorian youth due to their living conditions and the lack of public educational policies.
