Abstract

This third installment of “Don Bosco dialogues with the arts and sciences” tells 15 separate stories of illustrious literary, scientific and miscellaneous figures who marked a “before and after” among the most vulnerable populations. This third volume has been the largest number of authors and personalities to date. Moreover, this academic-dialogical encounter with Don Bosco has been extended to other institutions and geographical latitudes. We aspire to continue to spread this message more widely, demonstrating the versatility and transversality of Don Bosco's thought by dialoguing, in an imaginative, creative, respectful and orienting way, with intellectuals and thinkers recognized worldwide. The ability to dialogue implies knowing how to listen, and the resulting sensation of this reflective exercise generates exceptional gratification, fusing learning and imagination.
