Abstract

The constant advance of new technologies poses great challenges, but also opportunities for today's society. These technologies allow immediate, easy and updated access to information and entertainment, thus permeating the diversification of interests among individuals. Additionally, the growing generation of digital platforms such as smartphones or tablets, have positioned video games among the main options for entertainment, information and learning for children, youth and even adults, becoming a mechanism of great social importance that has led to the emergence of new ways of thinking, behaving, learning and interacting among individuals
