Abstract
This paper presents the design & implementation of the Secure Ignition System with the use of electronics applied to a vehicle model Hyundai Verna 2002, the system's objective is increase security at the moment of ignition. The system consist on reading different signals which are received and processed by a free software, which through programming, checks if imposed condictions to allow the ignition are met or not, those signals are obtained from the emergency brake, vehicle shifter , and a third sent signal directly from the seat belt to the software, finally to complete the conditions, driver must enter the PIN security, failure to comply any of these conditions, in the Display will appear the imposed messages by the System to correct the ignition process.
