Abstract
In the environment, speech therapy is limited with the feedback of writing in people with disabilities, which causes a delay in the continuous teaching process, the state of the art of communication and assistive technologies has been reviewed and it has been found that access to writing in people with spasticity is limited by standard computer resources, Therefore, it has been chosen as an initial work the realization of an embedded device that allows the management of a 2D plotter through a joystick, in order to access free drawing for people with motor difficulties and to be able to express themselves with their environment. The methodology of the project consists of the acquisition of recycled elements from defective printers, the total control of the plotter movements are through a stepper motor (PAP motor) by bit shift, a direct current motor (DC motor) by speed control by PWM, and a servomotor, which will help us by the position of the angles to settle or lift the pencil, also it was done by a PWM signal; The programming was developed on a parallel processing platform, and the implementation of a microprocessor system, a system of normalization of movement with the training of the device has been made and free drawing has been achieved in the range of motion of the person.
