Abstract

Youth association is one of the fundamental pillars of educational work at the Salesian Polytechnic University. The topic was the main topic during the V Congress of Salesian Education. The effects of youth association on socio-educational transformation were discussed, considering the increase in inequalities and vulnerabilities in the educational field, especially after the pandemic, which has seriously affected youth in Latin America and the Caribbean. The papers published in this volume address the topic and its consequences, such as the increase in school dropouts and youth unemployment, while also raising issues of the impact of the preventive system, ethical, ecological and spiritual formation and the use of technological tools in the educational field.
