Abstract

This paper presents the study and analysis of the main causes of electricity consumption in homes, which is detailed that is not appropriate, either due to little or lack of culture and awareness when using this resource to be able to make the most of it. The inappropriate use generates economic losses that will be reflected in the invoices issued by the company in charge and also causes great damage to the environment by contributing to global warming. To solve all these problems, a collection of information taken from documents will be used. of the CONELEC that is available on the web. Before letting know how it is electricity consumption of the Ecuadorian sector, and the processes that must be carried out in case of problems that occur in the cas. The objective of the work is to present a study of the high costs to be paid, emphasizing the bad use of electricity due to the bad habits that people have.
