This paper presents the study and analysis of the main causes of electricity consumption in homes, which is detailed that is not appropriate, either due to little or lack of culture and awareness when using this resource to be able to make the most of it. The inappropriate use generates economic losses that will be reflected in the invoices issued by the company in charge and also causes great damage to the environment by contributing to global warming.
