In the present article, birth control was considered to solve overpopulation in overpopulated regions, due to the impact on resource degradation, increased pollution and loss of quality of life. By means of a qualitative investigation it was possible to identify the factors that influence a solution as profitable as harmful when leaving ethics and morals aside. Among the most relevant aspects we would have to the discrimination and inequality of the individuals when generating policies not very favorable to divergent opinions, but with future solutions dependent on the collectivity.
