Abstract
INTRODUCCIÓN (INGLES) (*)From the Classroom to Evidence: Research Results on Methodological Processes in Educational Institutions in the City of Quito primarily brings together research developed by students of Early Childhood Education and Basic Education at the Salesian Polytechnic University, accompanied by their tutors, as the fruit of a rigorous and progressive training process. Through exploratory and descriptive studies, the book opens the doors of the school to understand, from within, its dynamics, tensions, and possibilities for transformation. The book also includes two articles by teachers on topics such as analysis of textbooks and community outreach programs. The chapters reflect a path that begins with pre-professional practicums, continues with systematization in field journals, and culminates with case studies that demonstrate methodological, reflective, and critical learning. In a national context where educational research has significantly expanded its dissemination channels, this work aims to publish theses and transform them into living contributions to the pedagogical debate. Organized around three main themes—miscellaneous topics, educational inclusion, and curriculum in action—the book offers perspectives on the uses and function of textbooks, community engagement, disability, language, digital skills, and gender. It is an invitation to teachers, students, researchers, and policymakers to view schools with attentive, critical, and proactive eyes.
