Abstract
The Internet of thing had continued to confirm its important position in the context Information and Communications Technologies and the development of society. The problem was knowing how to correctly use IoT support. The objective of this research was to develop a prototype that allows to capture pictures of a place and allow access to them in real time and remotely, considering the concepts of communication and M2M computing. The deductive method was used with exploratory research to identify the current state of the IoT. It became a communication established in an environment-object and object-object to achieve the proposed objective; the communication-object environment of the surveillance system allowed to monitor different environmental variables. It was concluded that higher education does not move away from these new technologies and this work validates this statement, given that through the search for reference material, there was a wide variety of free software tools that interacts with the IoT allowing to create learning material.
