Abstract

It is from the perspective of an emancipatory and decolonial pedagogy that it is necessary to recover educational institutions – schools, high schools, universities – to put them at the service of the people, the communities and the country. And this requires a pedagogical, philosophical, political, ethical, epistemological and even ontological transformation at all levels. These transformations are urgent and indispensable; The logic of capital and the global developmental system advances relentlessly in a hegemonic and homogeneous manner. For this reason, it is vital to re-promote, from the dynamics of southern cultures, educational projects that promote the definitive epistemic, political and social decolonization. In this sense, the purpose of this book is to reflect on educational problems from a critical, emancipatory and decolonial perspective that contribute to the process of educational transformation that the country is experiencing, for this a series of works of our authorship are compiled. Due to the topics raised, the text was divided into two parts.
